This patient presented to Dr. Siamak Agha for a Buttock Augmentation with implants. The patient previously had a Brazilian Butt Lift and an Extended Abdominoplasty by another surgeon. However, she was unhappy with the results of her Buttocks Fat Transfer, and desired larger, and more rounded buttocks. The patient specifically wished to have buttock implants to achieve her desired result.

To avoid any new incisions, Dr. Agha planned to use the patient’s previous Extended Tummy Tuck scars on her back for implant placement. Through these existing incisions, Dr. Agha created precise pockets for the implants above the buttock muscles on each side. Solid silicone buttocks implants of 360 cc in size were then placed into each pocket meticulously. The pockets were then closed to prevent implant shift or misplacement.

The patient’s Buttocks Implants before and after photos were taken 8 months after her procedure. The implants added the desired size, projection, and shape to the her buttocks and she was extremely happy with her new curvaceous shape.

This out-of-country 26 years old female presented to Dr. Agha for a buttock augmentation surgery and correction of banana roll excess. On examination, the patient had minimal buttock tissue with virtually no fat on her. Dr. Agha planned to use a buttock implant to be placed within the buttock muscle (intra-muscular). Given the fact that the implant results in augmentation of the upper butt, Dr. Agha also planned to liposuction her lower back and to transfer all the available fat into her lower buttock. At the same time, the patient also had a posterior thigh lift with correction of the thigh laxity and banana roll excess. Post-operative pictures were taken at about 1 month before the patient returned home.

This 44 year old female presented to Dr. Siamak Agha at Plastic Surgery Body Contouring Center in Orange County for a buttock augmentation. On examination by Dr. Agha, the patient was found to have significant buttock deflation and sagging. Her buttocks were found to be not only small but flat with skin ripples over the lower buttock region on both sides. The buttocks were also found to have depressions on the outer aspect. Examination of the rest of the patient reveled minimal fat over her abdomen, flanks, love-handles, or thighs. Patient had small deposits of lower back and saddlebag fat. Her buttock augmentation post-operative pictures were taken at 6 months after her surgery.

PROCEDURE:The patient desired overall fullness and significant augmentation of her buttocks.

CORRECTION: The patient underwent the following procedures in 3 hours.

– Buttock Augmentation with round buttock implants in an intramuscular plane
– Liposuction of love handles and lower back
– Liposuction of saddlebags
– Lower buttocks fat transfer: The liposuctioned fat from these areas was then processed and injected as micrografts into the lower buttocks.

RESULTS: As can be seen from the before and after photos, liposuction of the patient’s saddlebags and lower back resulted in a more contoured and balanced torso. The process of liposuction is extremely important in removing the fatty tissue that surrounds the buttocks and adversely affects buttocks shape, width, and length. The buttocks implant placement created a perkier and rounder buttocks with significant enhancement of the buttocks enhanced projection and size. The round buttock implant expanded and refilled the empty buttock skin envelope, softening up many of the skin ripples.
